Here at the Ansitz Mairhof in Val Venosta, our guests are so much more than just visitors: they become a part of our farm community. Hostess Katrin is a passionate cook who will treat you to an array of South Tyrolean delicacies and a breakfast basket overflowing with delights. Matthias tends our apple orchards, vineyards and winery with endless dedication, and transforms our fruits into homemade apple juice, superb wines and other mouthwatering creations. Everything that brings you joy in our small farm shop is the result of a life lived with joy on the farm. We look forward to welcoming you!

Here at the historic Mairhof in Parcines, our family cultivates its vineyards and orchards with passion and dedication. This land has been home to winemakers for centuries untold. Today, we welcome you in to enjoy a taste of our wines and juices right here where they are made – in the newly-built wine cellar or among the fragrant vineyards, just before the harvest.
Our animals
Meet them in person
Our farm is home to many animals, all of whom enjoy the space and the peace they find here. Approach them slowly and gently; if you watch our chickens rabbits, guinea pigs and quails carefully, you’ll see their curious glances, gentle movements and maybe even hear a little snuffle. This is our farm life: peaceful, lively and in harmony with the nature of Val Venosta.
Garden
A green paradise, all around the house
Our blossoming garden surrounding the Mairhof is a place that invites you to slow down and stay a while. The fragrant herbs we use in our kitchen thrive among fruit trees, flowers and vegetable patches – and you’re welcome to pick them too. This is a place where bees buzz, butterflies flutter by, and the view sweeps over the Alpine peaks of Parcines. A place to breathe out, enjoy life, and discover the beauty of nature.

Get here at your ease, pull up and plug in
At the historic Ansitz Mairhof, you can park safely and fully sheltered from the elements. The covered car park integrates harmoniously with the age-old stone walls, proving once again that Alpine beauty and modern comfort are not mutually exclusive. We provide a personal charging station for your electric car, while our bike depot offers safe storage and charging points for your e-bike. This is a place where history meets convenience – which means that you can set off on your Val Venosta adventures fully charged, in every sense of the word.
